We are interested in autobiographical, episodic and spatial memory, and how these types of memory are executed and organized in the hippocampus and the rest of the brain. We study this by means of various populations, using both behavioral and neuroimaging (functional and structural MRI) methods. Our research questions cover several topics, including depression and electroconvulsive therapy and autobiographical memory, functional differentiation along the hippocampal axis, neural correlates of sex differences in episodic and spatial memory, mechanisms and organization of spatial memory, and associative memory in the hippocampus.
