Research Interests
My research is focussed on cognitive and social development. I am interested in infants’ developing representations of social categories and I investigate infants’ detection and recognition of faces and bodies. I also use eye-tracking to investigate infants’ scanning of faces and bodies as well as infants’ pupillary responses. My research also centres on the cognitive aspects of early child word learning and the role of sleep in children’s learning and memory.
