Researcher, Project Leader
In my research, I study how young infants develop perceptual, motor and cognitive skills. Within a little more than a year, infants learn to smile back at you, roll, sit upright, crawl, walk, and talk. This is astonishing, especially if you consider how much effort it takes to create a robot that can master just one of these skills. My current research focuses on how infants combine information from various senses (proprioception, vision) to coordinate their actions in the world.
