The Social Foundation of Cognition

We study how infants’ understanding of their social world impacts cognitive development. This is a longitudinal project following 120 children from 6 months to 3.5 years of age, using a wide range of behavioral and eye tracking tasks. The project focuses on individual variability and aims to discover the social foundation of cognition and map the development of social and non-social cognition from infancy to childhood.
