Infants' Sense of Number

We study infants' numerical abilities and how these abilities relate to when and how children learn mathematics later in life. In the project we develop novel paradigms using eye tracking to evaluate numerical abilities during infancy. The project also includes a longitudinal study where we follow children from 8-months of age until they are in kindergarten. This study investigates how numerical abilities develop and interact during infancy and early childhood.
